Loxone in a new home · Thuringia
Connected comfort from the start.
A comprehensive Loxone home automation system was planned and commissioned for this residential building. Lighting, shading, individual room control, door communication and garage doors are brought together in a shared interface. Coordinated electrical plans, cable schedules and clearly assigned sensors and actuators provide the foundation. Tree components, Touch controls and a local weather station connect functions indoors and outside.
Planning & functions
The automation spans multiple floors and combines different lighting technologies with consistent controls. RGBW luminaires, surface-mounted spots and pendant lights are assigned to rooms and lighting scenes. Presence sensors support lighting in corridors, the garage and outdoor areas. Roller shutters respond to sun position, weather and room modes; door contacts account for use of terrace and balcony doors. Individual room heating is controlled through the underfloor heating actuators. Central and room-specific night modes coordinate lighting and shading. The app and Touch controls complement the automatic routines.
Technical implementation
Electrical drawings and cable schedules provided the basis for assigning the Loxone inputs and outputs. Commissioning included pairing the Tree devices, checking wiring and switching functions, and verifying shutter direction and travel times. A weather station supplies local measurements for shading functions. Door and bolt contacts, the Intercom and garage door controls were integrated; temperatures, humidity and contact states are available in the visualisation. RGBW Ceiling Lights and Pendulum luminaires complement conventional lighting. Lighting scenes, user controls and night modes were then adjusted during operation.
