At Kreissparkasse Gotha, the electrical installation brings together power distribution, lighting and the data network. The project covers cable installation, electrical distribution boards, lighting and data cabling. The focus is on continuous connections between distribution boards, cable routes and the relevant connection points throughout the building.
The challenge
Power supply, lighting and data communication require infrastructure suited to the building’s connection points. Cable routes and distribution boards provide their shared technical foundation.
Electrical cabling connects distribution boards with the intended equipment and luminaires. The data network also requires suitable cable routes and connection points.
Clear assignment of the different cabling systems is essential. It brings power supply, lighting installation and data cabling together within a coherent building infrastructure.
Technical implementation
The electrical installation includes cable installation and work on electrical distribution boards. These connect power distribution with the building’s connection points.
The lighting installation adds electrical connections to the luminaires. Cable routing, distribution and connections need to suit the respective installation locations.
Data cabling is also part of the project. It provides the physical connections for the data network and complements the electrical supply with the building’s communications infrastructure.
