Connected systems. Precise conditions.
For the new metallisation building with cleanroom areas on the ground and upper floors, cunnect integrates ventilation, heating and cooling, lighting and shading into an overarching building automation system. The focus is on connecting the technical systems, coordinating control functions and providing shared operation through Loxone.

The challenge
Production and cleanroom areas have different requirements for airflow, temperature and operating modes. The building automation needs to coordinate these requirements with utility systems and room-level functions.
The project includes integrating ventilation equipment, heat pumps and heating/cooling systems, as well as lighting, shading, sensors and actuators. Coordination between the overarching automation and the dedicated cleanroom control system is particularly important.
Interfaces, measured values and operating states are coordinated across the building systems. Implementation involves the specialist trades and proceeds through successive commissioning stages.
Our approach
The overarching control logic is implemented in Loxone Config. Filter-fan units (FFUs) are integrated via Modbus; interfaces for ventilation components also include MP-Bus. Sensors and actuators are configured and assigned to their respective functions.
Room operating-mode commands are coordinated with the TROX EASYLAB system, which is programmed by the responsible specialist trade. Heating/cooling controls and ventilation functions are coordinated within the overarching logic.
Lighting, shading, operation and measurement functions are commissioned in stages. A shared visualisation brings equipment states and operating functions together for the technical team.
