ELK show home Erfurt

Loxone system care · Erfurt

Bringing existing technology back into use.

The existing Loxone control system in the ELK show home in Erfurt was reviewed and recommissioned. The work focused on restoring the existing configuration, updating the software and testing the connected building technology. Lighting, shading, switched sockets and door communication were assessed alongside the Miniserver, network and user controls. An additional configuration backup complements the technical documentation.

01

Reviewing the existing system

The existing installation brings key show home functions together in a Loxone environment. Control hardware, storage media and the existing programming were checked systematically. On-site function tests compared the configuration with the actual response of connected loads. The wall-mounted tablet, Intercom integration and existing audio equipment were included in the assessment. The aim was a clear recommissioning process for the home functions already implemented. Restoring the controls was considered separately from potential future extensions.

02

Restoring the controls

The existing configuration was transferred to new storage media and the Miniserver software was updated. Existing lighting, shading and switching functions were then tested. The Intercom configuration block was extended to include its image stream. The tablet received an updated Loxone app, and users and permissions were revised. Network connectivity and remote access were also tested. A further SD card containing the saved configuration was supplied as a backup, providing a documented control configuration and a basis for recovery.
